All Inter Terminals’ operations and facilities are managed in a manner that seeks to protect the health and safety of employees, contractors, the public and the environment, while complying with, and where appropriate, exceeding the applicable laws, regulations, industry standards and stakeholder expectations.
Seveso Directive
All our facilities satisfy all the requirements of the Seveso Directive, in the prevention of major accidents and should such accidents happen, to limit their consequences for human health and the environment.
As an operator of Seveso sites, Inter Terminals has implemented the new Seveso III requirements. This updated Directive on the control of major accident hazards required include:
- Implementation of the Globally Harmonised System (GHS)/CLP Directive for classification of substances
- Improved provision of information to the public
- Review of emergency plans
- Update of Safety Reports
